Tex Brannigan is a character on Escape from Pelican Rock Island.

Tex has a mustache that is the same color as his hair: black while gray at the end. He wears a gray hat with a black strap on his head, and wears a black sheriff outfit. He has a white undershirt under his outfit as well as a tie tucked under his black outfit. On his sheriff outfit he has a golden badge.
Storyline[]
Role on Escape from Pelican Rock Island[]
After the Booted Bandit robbed the bank, he and a couple police officers chased after them and followed them to a hill. He and his police officers found the player with a money bag over his head laying down next to a huge pile of money. Since the player looks exactly like the Booted Bandit, Tex mistook the player for the Booted Bandit. He talks about how he knew they would come back here, and that they finally caught him, The player was all confused about this, but Tex says to save it for the warden at Pelican Rock, and takes the player to prison. After the player escaped, Tex heard about the breakout and told his officers that he's sure the Booted Bandit would return to the hill that very day. The player very carefully snuck past them and climbed up the hill and up to the top of the Colt Tower. The player meets up with the Booted Bandit and Tex notices them, and starts to go up the Colt Tower. Tex caught up to them at the top, only to be confused when he saw two Booted Bandits standing there. The player decided to prove their innocence by opening Florian's safe. The Booted Bandit says that the player would have no luck opening that safe as only Florian knows the combination. The player replies saying that maybe they do, and they go and try to open it. Looks like luck is on the player's side, because they successfully open the safe. The Booted Bandit notices that what's in the safe is only pictures of Florian, and the Booted Bandit gets really angry and accidentally confesses. The police officers take them away and the Booted Bandit is never seen again. Tex tells the player that the Booted Bandit won't be seeing the outside of a prison cell for a very long time, and the player tells him to not be so sure about that. Back on Main Street Tex apologizes for throwing the player in jail, and the player tells him that it's ok. He then tells him that he made some friends at the prison and found out that they had parole hearings coming up, and asks Tex if he could put in a good word. Tex says that he'll happily do it and gives the player the Island Medallion.
