The Shark Fin is an item given to you by the Shark Fin Vendor. It is not required to complete the quest of Shark Tooth Island, and is an optional item to obtain. When you put it on, it will appear on your back. There are also different colored versions on some costumes, such as the hammerhead shark.

Although the Shark Fin can be obtained on Shark Tooth Island, it does not have any role within its quest. However, some users consider it to be fashionable, and is one of the most famous fashion pieces in the history of Poptropica.
