Rumpelstiltskin is the main antagonist of Fairy Tale Island.

Characteristics

Appearance

In his regular form, he has green skin, spikey purple hair, and a long tail with a tuft of hair at the end. He has pointy ears with piercings, and his right ear is damaged. He has yellow eyes with red and black slit pupils, and sharp teeth.

Personality

He is very mischievous and likes to pull pranks. He views humans as playthings, and believes they have "tiny brains."

Storyline

Role on Fairy Tale Island

Rumpel first appears at the castle, disguised as the King. He tells the player that he has stolen the Happy Endings from the people of the island. He says he'll give them back if you can guess his name.

There are three minigames for the player to complete to get his name, "Rumpel" in Red's Pizza receipt, "stilts" in Cinder's song, and "skin" after you wake up Snow White.

After completing the three minigames, the player is teleported to the treasury where they shout his name three times, and he emerges out of the room, tricking you into saying his name three times to get everyone their happy endings. His fate is unknown.

Role on Rumpel's Challenge (Sidequest)

Rumpel appears on Home Island to let your Player know where he has hidden the King. He gives you riddles to go to different islands on the map. The riddles lead you right back to the castle on Fairy Tale Island.

Trivia

He is the only villain to not be defeated at the end of their island.
He makes a cameo in Secret of the Jade Scarab Island, in the desert.
At the beginning of July 2022, the Red Baroness started selling Rumpelstilskin merch in her Cabin of Curiosities. It is implied Rumpel possessed her, or is her in disguise
On 9/28/22, Rumpelstiltskin took over Baroness's body and ship. He then revealed that she was related to the Royal family on Fairy Tale Island.
