King Mondo character in Crisis Caverns Island. He is the king of the Mole People.

Appearance[]
Like other mole people, he resembles a Poptropican, except he has greyish blue fur, mole snouts, and pink mole claws. His eyes are blue, and his clothes are messy and tattered.
He wears a giant fungus on his head as a crown. He has a blue rob with a green rope belt. He has a pale green mustache and beard. The crystal on his spear is green.
Personality[]
He is wary of intruders, but will be nice to them if they give a gift from the surface.
He was not afraid of the Cthonians, and tried to encourage his people to fight back. After he was kidnapped and taken to their lair, he noticed their eggs. He realized that the moles accidentally took one of their eggs, starting the war.

- In the original version of the island, he was the villain.
- King Mondo’s line, “Today, we are cancelling the apocalypse!" Is a reference to the 2013 movie Pacific Rim. His line, “Today we celebrate our indepen—” is a reference to the 1996 movie Independence Day.
