Ishmael is the first Poptropican that needs to be rescued in S.O.S Island. He loves whales very much.

Appearance[]
Ishmael has pale skin, freckles, white skin and short brown curly hair. He also has a blue striped hat that says: I love whales. He also has a life jacket with a blue shirt and pants. He has bags under his eyes.
Personality[]
Ishmael is a compassionate and kind-hearted child who has a deep love for whales. He is optimistic and tends to see the good in creatures, as evidenced by his disbelief that a whale could cause harm. Despite the dangerous situation he finds himself in, he remains calm and cooperative, trusting the player to help him and immediately thinking about the welfare of others still on the ship.
He prioritizes getting his Whale Song Gadget before immediately following the player off of the ship, showing innocent childishness. His willingness to give his Whale Song Gadget to the player shows his selflessness.
He has a deep love for animals and nature, planting trees and constantly giving to animal charities.

Role on S.O.S Island[]
His leg is stuck and it is very easy to rescue him. You click the boxes then he is free. He gives you his Whale Song Gadget after being rescued. Then he tells you to go back to the ship and rescue the other passengers stuck on the ship.
