The Focus Tester is one of Poptropica's new employees on Mocktropica Island. He secretly works for MegaFightingBots.

The Focus Tester wears green glasses and has gray hair. He wears a white lab coat and has a blue tie and pants.
Personality[]
The Focus Tester constantly adds terrible new features to Poptropica. While the Narfs seem to be added based on community feedback, his other ideas seem to be his own free will. His role as a villain ultimately comes into play during the island's climax, in which he teams up with the other employees to form a giant robot.
Storyline[]
Role on Mocktropica Island[]
The Focus Tester first appears at the beginning of the island, where he demonstrates "focus testing" by asking kids what they want to be added to Poptropica and giving them Cake.
Once you've talked to everyone in the Poptropica HQ and are about to leave, he introduces Achievements that you can earn as "proof of what an awesome gamer you are."
Upon bringing Lance Pitcher back to the team, the Focus Tester implements Pop Coins. These would be used for doing "literally everything," like boarding the blimp and leaving Main Street. When you ask him about where to get Pop Coins, he replies, "Not my problem!" You must get some Counterfeit Coins from a Laid-off Developer to bypass Pop Coin restrictions.
The Focus Tester's final idea is Collectibles, which he adds after Billy Jordan returns to Poptropica. He calls Collectibles "my [his] best idea yet" and describes them as "mak[ing] players jump through hoops to track down and collect random useless stuff." While you disapprove of the idea, he makes you collect a thousand Soda Pop Bottles anyways, and gives you a hint that the first one is on top of the Poptropica HQ. After you collect it, the box of soda bottles (the rest of the Collectibles) blocks the path to Ephraim University. You smash the crate by using a design computer in the HQ basement, causing the Focus Tester to comment, "Maybe collectibles weren't such a great idea..."
The Focus Tester appears again at the end of the island, where he, along with the other members of the MegaFightingBots team, form a robot. Once the robot is destroyed by shooting Pop Coins at it, the Focus Tester claims that the team will "build a new game!" and runs off.
