They are giant brown worm-like creatures, with yellow tentacles coming from their mouths.
Personality[]
At first they seem vicious, as they went to war with the Mole People for centuries. But later it's revealed that they only wanted their eggs back from the moles, who didn't know what they were.
Storyline[]
The Chthonians have been at war with the Mole People for centuries. Their battle cries were the cause of the earthquakes above Crisis Caverns Island. A Chthonian kidnaps King Mondo, and your player must go after him. After the Moles return the Chthonian eggs, the war was over, and they were at peace.
Trivia[]
- They live in an area under where the Mole People live, which is hotter and full of lava.
- Their eggs have red crystals imbedded in them.
- In Greek mythology, the word chthonian refers to the deities, spirits, and other beings dwelling under the earth.
- Amelia has a Chthonian trophy in her clubhouse.
